Eagle Restoration at Post Office Square
Boston, MA

The city of Boston called Cassidy Bros. Forge when this large historic copper eagle fell 65' to the ground. One wing and portions of the head were completely crushed. This required employing one of the best available coppersmiths to meticulously replicate the same artistic craftsmanship when it was made some 80 years earlier.

A new stainless steel support structure was also engineered and fabricated before the bird was reconstructed. This was to assure to the city that it was not likely to ever fall again.
